The Canary Island

The Canarian Archipelago is the most southern territory of Spain, it is located in the Atlantic Ocean, at about ninety miles from the northeast coast of Africa.

It is formed by seven islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Hierro and La Gomera).  Together they have a surface of around 8,000 squared km
Its location in the middle of three continents (Europe, Africa and America) makes them a strategical point for communication, which together with its tropical climate make these islands become a touristic paradise.  All the islands have a volcanic source, but even though, we should take into considerarion all of their characteristics which makes each of them different in climate and culture as well as geographically.
