April 19 were inaugurated the Field of Hockey of the Stadium of Great Canaria. The president of the Town council of Great Canaria, María Eugenia Márquez, inaugurated this installation, accompanied by the consultant of Culture and Sports, Gonzalo Ángulo. The new installation measures 100 meters long for 62 of wide, being the measures of the field of game of 91,40*55. The new artificial grass is of the type astroturf system formed by fiber of nylon monofilamento. The main characteristic of the grass is that it allows that the ball slips quickly.
